The Sunday “Singles” began with the matches in a dead heat. When the dust settled, Ribby’s 12 points settled all arguments.

With the final match finished on the 17th green, 38 players fixed their eyes on the pairing approaching the 18th tee. As they drove past the tee box Rafferty’s unbelievable comeback was complete.
